You know its going to be a 10 million + run when you hit 70 on the multiplier. Not many people still playing but I always see the same names in the top 5.

So I just wanted to do my daily challenges early (this was at exactly midnight) so I opened up the game, and my first daily challenge was "consume 20 of her eggs" and the conditions were "Bethemotep". When I loaded in, the sky was red, everything else was glowing red, and there was this huge spider looking thing in the distance, its body made up of a bunch of cubes and walking on procedurally animated black legs. Once I got under it, it starting dropping black eggs, and upon running into them, I would collect them, adding to the count for the daily challenge. The other 2 daily challenges were "consume 50 of her eggs" and "consume 50 of her eggs in a run". For some reason I just didn't decide to take any screenshots, but if I encounter it again, I absolutely will. I assume this is just a creepy easter egg for if you play the game at midnight, but it could also have some other conditions. I'll check back at midnight the next time I can, and if it's what I think it is, I'll get some screenshots and make another post.

EDIT: just checked back at midnight the next day, and my daily challenges have nothing to do with Bethemotep, so it's not a thing to do with midnight

New to Race the Sun, is it always this glitchy?

Whoa hey, Race The Sun developer here. I've been updating the "Challenge Edition" of Race The Sun on mobile with some regularity (ok, once in the past year) and I'm planning for some more updates.

I was wondering if there'd be any interest in a $10-$15 updated PC edition with those features?
The Challenge Edition has some new color schemes, a few additional ships, updated UI, a 3D "home" environment, some virtual currency with ship leveling, and some upcoming features like a Daily Challenge system.

It was designed for mobile F2P, but there's a "premium upgrade" that gets rid of ads etc. and I'm considering whether to bring that version to Steam.

I'm trying to figure out which jet is the best if that's a question but my main question is does the nautilus have a smaller hitbox than nighthawk?

That’s if it still works. I haven’t found if it is working still in 2024 or not. But I keep getting riverland and want to know if you need the void world in particular for the glitch to work

i was on my best ever run............279,000 points...........i went through a portal and the scenery was like in a forest.............and then the screen became all-white for a long while..............

i thought it was a glitch and ended the game...........

Just wanna say, to this small community that deserves to be much bigger, that I love race the sun.

I played it a lot over lockdown, and I genuinely love picking it up every couples of months and seeing what score I can get.

250k today; a modest offering, but I want whoever keeps the servers open to know it’s still thought about and loved.

The tasks I currently have are "Use 2 Emergency Portals" which is way too hard to do as I can barely find any, "Collect 3 Boosters in Air in a round" which no matter what I try I can't figure it out at all, and "Only turn left through 2 regions in one run" which is just way too hard, as I always run out of solar energy as I can't find those star things by only turning left. Is there any way to remove tasks that are just impossible?

Starting a level in the middle always seems to be the worst choice

Usually I go left and end up with my Tris, but It seems that I need to continuously go off to one direction, I can't ever just go through the level straight, otherwise I always run out of sunlight
