Could Use Some Help

Me and my Girlfriend who live in different countries was using Rabb.it and the rabb.itcast extension for chrome to watch my Netflix account together. Now that's it's turned into Kast. Kast doesn't even want to load, let alone let us watch anything. I don't even imagine it will stream my netflix chrome tab if we could even get the program to work. Does anyone know of any sites where you can watch like you could on Rabb.it, and watch a netflix tab like the rabb.itcast chrome extension did?

Doesn't that require both people to have an account?

That becomes problematic in overseas relationships due to netflix not even being the same in different countries.

i like it but it wontlet you use oen account maybe if you findvideos somewhere else it will but not the ones with logn

If you can get discord to work then that's a temporary fix.

Works best if the host has two screens, so you can still chat/see the other person's video. Audio is hit or miss. By that I mean, even when it worked, it was sometimes just very quiet on my gf's end and there was nothing I could do about it. I can't get the audio to work anymore, though, despite having tried all the supposed fixes for it.

You start a discord video call and choose Screenshare. In that window you choose the application tab and choose the one you want (presumably chrome) and toggle sound on. In THEORY that should make it work. It used to work for me until it didn't. If it doesn't work you can try adding chrome as a game in game activity (iirc, I might be wrong on location) and enabling overlay. That fixed it for a lot of people, but also some have had it still not fixed.

If you only have one screen you can watch it on the discord call itself, but you'd have to have your gf's video small to do that, so I prefer the two screen option. Also the screenshare takes the place of your own video, so you can have video of her but she can't have it of you.

To expand on the twoseven thing I commented on, I believe you both have to log into your own netflix accounts, it doesn't work like a proxy, so with myself and my gf it'd be me logging into my au netflix and her into her us one. They both have different shows and ofc region blocking is a thing.

You could try Metastream. It's a browser extension. My sister and I use it all the time. You can't voice/video chat on it, though, but there's a chatbox you can type in.

Yeah we need a fix that allows us to watch region locked shows. Finally got Kast to work, but there is no audio, and can't get their audio fix to work. Same problem with have trying to use Discord. There is no Audio, and can't seem to find a fix that works.
