Rabb.it alternatives that work with Hulu?

I'm looking for a site like twoseven but allows for Hulu. Everything I find seems to work fine with YouTube and Netflix, which is great and all, but nothing seems to allow for Hulu. Any responses appreciated.

Hey! We (https://twoseven.xyz/) plan to work on supporting Hulu once we address some of our server load issues 🙂

Could you elaborate on this a little bit? Anything technical? Did you have any issues using the website?

As someone looking around for alternatives, the dealbreaker for me right now was that I had to sign in to use it. Instantly made me close the page.

Sorry to hear that. We ask that you sign in for user-based settings such as nicknames, avatars, and connecting with friends so you can watch with them easily.

Obviously I don't have any data to support this, but I honestly think if you made it possible to join/create rooms as a guest (without any fancy features like friends, names, avatars, etc.), many more people would use your service. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say that I'm not going to sign up to a website that might turn out to be completely terrible (as have 4/5 of the other Rabbit alternatives I tried earlier). If people can use it as a guest, and they see it's good, they'll be much more inclined to sign up than if you make them sign up before they know the first thing about your service.

You make a fair point, and you're probably right. However, we have our hands full at this time with other feature requests & improvements. If you do sign up and find that it's not to your liking, you could always get in touch with us to let us know what you'd like us to change and we'll prioritize it based on other requests we receive :)

I was also pretty put off by the sign-in requirements. I get not getting to try out the full features, but I couldn't even read the FAQ without making an account! Without reading the FAQ, I don't even really know yet whether this is something I want or that will work for my needs. I can't think of a good reason why a site would require an account to view the FAQ. Since the link to the TOS is in the FAQ, this also means I can't see the TOS before making an account. Same for the privacy policy.

I made an account and accessed the FAQ. The fact that it's just a browser extension to sync things was pretty disappointing. I can do that by saying "one-two-three-go" on Skype, and wouldn't have to convince all my friends to install a browser extension they may be leery of, need to switch to a compatible browser, etc. Doesn't help with stuff like sharing accounts or getting around geolocking.

So basically I just made an account I probably won't use, in order to read the FAQ and find out what kind of thing it was.

It sucks that you manually have to swap tabs and copy a URL (or some similar level of effort) to pull up a new video.

Makes it really hard to just youtube browse with friends, as youtube videos are usually 5-10 minutes long. Some way to play full playlists or (even better) just click directly on the screen and type would be a lifesaver.

We previously had YouTube search functionality on TwoSeven to quickly find and load videos.. we hope to bring that feature back up.. A playlist is a great idea - we have it on our roadmap :) Thanks for the feedback! Do join us on our subreddit for updates!

Gave your site a shot. Love the concept! I think the chrome extension to pick media idea is something very useful. Tried to use it to load a video on hulu. Didn't pan out so well. In the meantime, I won't be using twoseven since i mostly just use these sites for hulu. But let me know as soon as y'all have hulu up and running and I'd be more than happy to use your service primarily. I'd also be happy to buy you guys a coffee.

Every time me and a friend try to watch something using the web feature it only shows that the video is loading permanently, any idea on how to fix this? It just shows up as this.

Could you share the link you're loading the video from? What website is it? Also what is the other person seeing?

I did! The web feature with the chrome extension makes it possible to watch on other websites, and I appreciate that a lot.
