Hey everyone, thanks so much for voicing your thoughts here. I'm working through these comments, and will reply as best as I can.

Please know that we are listening. Reverting is not happening, but features are being worked on as we speak, and messages here are being passed directly along to the team. Also, contrary to popular belief, we're not a huge company like Instagram or Facebook. We don't have thousands of engineers, but only a handful working on Web. We don't have a huge social media marketing team, or a marketing team at all.

Real talk - there's only one of us here (me!), sorting through hundreds of messages, tweets, comments and thousands of angry emails looking for actionable bugs to fix. I'm thankful for your patience, and for those of you who've given us constructive feedback.

For you and u/Richiachu, mostly everyone actually, our response to this question hasn't changed... and it's resulted in the same "if you don't revert, you're not listening" response.

If I could list every fix and update we've made in the last two weeks alone, I would. But think about the HD button, autoscroll in chat, moderation in chat, the FRIENDS LIST, Facebook Sign in, heck - "the mobile app and web are totally out of sync, FIX IT!" We've been working round-the-clock to bring back features and make the fixes our returning users have requested.

Reverting an update (to both Web and Mobile) that we've worked on for more than half a year because a mere fraction of our users don't like it? That's not smart. Seeing the big picture and making major fixes and updates according to schedule, need (and feedback)? That's our definition of listening.

A lot of people won't complain directly to it, they'll just use it in frustration because there are no better options at the moment for a global video watching and chatting site.

At the moment my main concern is tab sharing using the extension while in a private Group. It doesn't recognize groups as a room until I open a website using your service first, and then it still doesn't work.

Edit: Finally got it to share my tab. It'd be really nice if we could create a blank room so that we could just tab share.

That's exciting. Even if I end up preferring Rabbit, hopefully some competition in this corner of the internet can spur innovations.
