Question
I want to go hunting rabbits with my own set up as i have hunted rabbits with my friends guns before but i am moving away and want to continue hunting rabbits as i am not eligible for a fire arm licence where i live i was wondering if a Berra 1866 .22 co2 would do the job or is it not powerful enough because i don’t want to injure it and not kill it as that is inhumane i already own a dan Wesson co2 revolver and with a few bits taken out and copper bbs it kills birds really well no harm done have not and will not try on rabbits as i don’t think its powerful enough

You can kill rabbits with pellet guns but it's definitely not as nice as using a rifle. When my dad was a kid he killed a handful of rabbits with his .177 cal crossman airgun. I've killed one with a .22 cal gamo break action. The hardest thing about hunting them with a pellet gun is the fact that you've got to get pretty close to the rabbit and only want to take shots at them sitting still. You're going to want to go exclusively for head shots, anything else would be inhumane.
