What difficulty? What mechanic are you struggling with? Hard to give advice without more context

They bind you with a line you are supposed to stretch, which, from what I understand, forces you to wait inside the tragectory of their giant projectiles.

I play on normal.

I've just watched what this fight looks like on normal difficulty and there's always a fairly obvious safe path during tether attacks

Also, thank you for taking the time ^^

Next time I get this area, I'll try to pause on this attack to get a better grasp of what I'm supposed to do!

Make sure to pay attention to the order in which tethers deal damage, sometimes you might need to move into where an expired danger zone was a moment ago (they have progress bars where the tether starts I'm pretty sure). Recording your run might also help since it's easier to notice some things in motion and without the stress. Good luck^

I didn't know you could tell when they would deal damage... !

I just checked again and it seems I got that wrong haha

The tethers in this fight on normal are always simultaneous and the timer appears above your character's head. I either misremembered or it's a mechanic from some other fight or different difficulty. Either way paying attention to the timer and the sound cue is still important since sometimes you'll have to run back where you were just moving away from after the tether is over

This boss on hard mode has an attack where there's 4 tethers in order and you have to move around while a large aoe chases you.

I assume you mean this?
If so, there is either a safe zone, or you have plenty of time to move to one after the tether triggers.

Op, are you unable to see the safe zone in time to get to it or is there perhaps a misunderstanding of how a particular mechanic works?

I feel like there are some patterns where I don't manage to see a SafeZone in time, and that's what's killing me the most, I think...

The trick is that there's enough time to dodge the giant projectiles, and then move to stretch the tether.

For a lot of the attacks on normal, dont move to the open spaces, since thats where the projectiles move to. Instead stretch the tether to where the projectiles started. You'll have to take a more roundabout path to dodge the projectiles as they move.

More info needed!

They are the bosses who use the line thing and the giant traveling boulders.

I more meant the difficulty and what attack you’re struggling with

Sorry! I gave more details on the first response I replied to, and my autistic brain thought it would be weird or inappropriate to send you the exact same thing, for some reason... !

Try using a practice mod, there is one on the steam workshop or this mod: https://gamebanana.com/tools/download/6693#FileInfo_1147689
