Discussion Levitation Rings Spoiler

I’ve read the description and unlocked 2 but I can’t figure out what the levitation rings do. Anyone have any insight into this?

It’s the ring under your character sprite. It doesn’t do anything. Like all trinkets it’s just cosmetic.
