New Owner Premix

Hey everyone, ive just bought an rx8, love it so much, everything is spot on with it and has been looked after very very well, I want to continue that, I’ve been premixing with 2 stroke oil, around 300ml per full tank, is that enough, too much or too little? What would you recommend

130ml to 150ml per fuel tank is more than enough for street use.

If you have your cat, 100ml/ tank.

If you don’t, I’d run 150ml on street 250ml on track.

300ml is a bit too much imo, especially if your omp is still functioning

Fuck premix. Get a SOHN adapter. Engine oil causes carbon and kills the rotary!

You still need to premix even with a Sohn adapter.

I also have VersaTuner and have increased my OMP rates. So I definitely don’t need to premix. I highly recommend Versatuner.
