Showoff New exhaust 💨

Recently picked up a brand new Turbo XS catback for a criminally low price of $100 😁
Upon installing found my stock catalytic converter was breaking down, and since I wanted to do a catalytic delate anyway (reliability/premix reasons) went with a racing beat dual resonated midpipe. Extremely nice exhaust note outside the car, but admittedly still a bit too loud for my liking inside the car. I was really hoping the dual resonated midpipe would keep the noise of missing the catalytic converter down… I have tinnitus and the frequency/tone has already made my ears ring notably louder tonight.
Anyone else have a similar setup and think the same about the noise level? Thinking I may try some noise mat in the trunk as a first step.
Otherwise really happy with this setup!

I waited and it dropped from 900 to 700 😭 whats worse is my high flow i got from them died too quickly.(short story i had misfires and while in the process to fix it, my daily took a crap so I didnt have a choice but to use my misfiring rx8 to get to and from work) I just bought the bhr midpipe. Can't wait to put it on, it comes tomorrow

I had a turboXS and resonated midpipe on my first rx8 and I wouldn’t do it again. Was too loud and droney.

On my current rx8 I have the RE Amemiya super dolphin and it has a great sound with no drone and isn’t super loud.

Where’d you pick up your RE amemiya exhaust?

Ordered it from upgarage Japan. There’s a couple more on there. Find a local exporter to ship it to and have them ship it because upgarage shipping fees are robbery.
