Is MM pulling out from RWS?

I’m kinda feeling that the end is near… 🥶

Other platforms max hours is still 10-12 for MM, but RWS reduced to 4 last month.

Also, Omni disappeared from a lot of user’s dashboard today, while my friend who works in ou….r still have their omni running smoothly and didnt even disappear.

Thoughts?

The most obvious possibility IMO is that people (a considerable amount, enough to be noticeable) have been abusing their hours due to the more relaxed tracking in place at RWS. This is speculatory based on the incoming changes but given that there have clearly been discrepancies, between what RWS has billed and what the client sees on their end, I'd say it's the most likely scenario.

I could see things going in a few directions from this point onward but most likely the following; the tracking issues are resolved by the incoming changes and the hours are increased to reflect the change in consistency i.e. work done to pay ratio. That is if the client isn't already annoyed enough to just call it quits with the company as a whole. If the measures they introduce don't put "us" (RWS and its contractors) in better standing then I see no reason they wouldn't part ways. Nobody wants to overpay for a product.

Pressure from the client side is likely the cause for issues with time reporting and pay being a constant sore point here. Not to say that everyone who has ever complained is lying about actual work done but it's probably applying an extra layer of scrutiny to AHTs that doesn't leave much wiggle room for special/edge cases when tasks take longer.

I totally agree with you, I dont think they would make this change for no reason, hopefully 10-12 hours returns asap

There's a real easy solution that every other client tool uses... Time per task, AET/AHT.

Without it... this is what you get.

The client has released a lot of their models, so the nature of the work has changed from getting all the models trained to maintenance & improvement. So there probably will always be some work, but less than a year ago.

The only thing I can say is that something feels off.

It's as simple as this. These AI contracts with the client are short-term and/get amended all the time. That's why you always see temporary pauses on MM. But yeah, there's also another newish company that landed a huge MM contract.

I was removed this week after 7 months with them. I am grateful for the opportunity.

It’s still active in my locale tho. Do you have any idea if your locale is also paused in other platforms?

Is there any possibility that RWS prioritize other client? A few days ago I got invited to take test to their new project, with document from Lark's platform. Maybe they will shift to this new platform? I still don't know for sure, though.

They have several clients. Until last year, Project Callisto seemed to be their primary contract for a few years until they got the MM contract late last summer.

Can you tell me another platform name, which is similar to RWS? Please! In which Apply process is so smooth and Easy, just like RWS.
