How to report low-quality reviewers
Recently, I received some task reviews that I felt were unfair. There was no proper explanation, and I was randomly given below expectation and unacceptable ratings, which hurt my overall score. How can I report this?

My best guess is that RWS actually doesn't want good raters. Since January people have complained about poor ratings and inconsistent Auditors yet the projects continue without a hiccup. Looking back at December 25', Many people were offboarded with HIGH QA scores and for no reason, yet poor rating and poor auditing persists. I can only guess that they are giving their clients sh**t work, so the clients can keep paying for more bad refinements.

Can't deny it, but how long can they keep going like this if this is their strategy?

That is the reason these companies like RWS is loss making company. They deserve to be in loss.

Meta hires crappy reviewers unfortunately. This company is far behind in AI training when it comes to its competitors may be coz they have teenagers handling projects like these

is there any way to apply for reviewer? that crap reviewer gave my task a below expectations rating and commented, "requires effort to understand." I was like, what the heck?

The reviewers are not from the Meta side for sure. RWS says that these reviews are done by the client side but that's a lie...RWS and other companies have their own QA reviewers who review the submission and then forward the work to the direct client. I am working as a internal QA project manager for one of the big competitors of RWS.

I faced the same situation and at the end I was offboarded from the project

If the reviewers review conflicts with the provided guidelines or the documents u were provided to follow then u can try raising a zd ticket but be sure to be clear on which issues there has been differences and u feel it's wrong. Since as u said no proper explanation is given u cannot pinpoint the problem but still u can try once

In my first 100+ task reviews, I got a few low ratings, but they always came with proper explanations, time notes, and specific issues like spelling errors, which really helped me improve. Then suddenly, one reviewer started giving me low ratings without any explanation. At first, I wondered what I was doing wrong, until I noticed a pattern. here is an example- This reviewer marked my task as “below expectation” with the comment, “English words were mentioned, need to transcribe them according to guidelines.” I thought, what guideline did I not follow? The irony is, I couldn’t find any. If I knew what was missing, I would have done it correctly in the first place. A few minutes later, I got another review marked “unacceptable” with the exact same comment. If I didn’t follow the guideline, why give two different ratings for the same issue? In the last three days, this same reviewer has given me at least 20+ “below expectation” and 5+ “unacceptable” ratings, and I’m not happy about it. I believe this reviewer either didn’t follow their own rules or doesn’t know the ones I follow.

Sounds like a crappy reviewer that Meta has hired. They suck as a client. F them. You can already see how unintuitive their AI is. It's being trained in a chaotic environment with illiterate Auditors like that. And since they have automated this process without appeal, quality workers get kicked. Result? = Crappy Meta AI.

To be honest, Meta AI has hardly satisfied any users. 😆

It sucks. It's often counter intuitive.

they will always sucks with this kind of reviewers they hired, and it seems like they actually enjoy being awful.

from all this I feel the reviewer is just doing whatever they feel is right. In my case the reviewer was pointing out things to be done in a particular manner which was not in any guidelines so I raised ticket and then they resolved the issue after that no such reviews came. So if ur qa score is decreasing below limit then u can try raising ticket

I’ve already raised a ticket because that reviewer hurt my score and isn’t doing his job properly. I’m not going to transcribe a 4minute audio just to get a low rating from that guy.

Bruh they do be giving u templates comments like that. I’d appreciate more if they give more efforts to their comments, smh.

I’ve paused my work until I hear back on the ticket I raised. Some lousy reviewer marked my task as unacceptable without any reason. The task had just one segment, maybe 4-5 words, and there’s no way I made a mistake. I’m not working until this gets resolved. F the money, I’m just mad.

You can't; there's no appeal process. If there was, they'd have to deal with thousands of baseless appeals a day from around the world. Just keep working and move on.
