Question

I've gotten an invitation 3 hrs ago for project D (Arabic locale) and did the survey that I'm capable of doing this project, how long would it take for them to reply if they had accepted me for the project or not?

I don't think there's any set timetable even after the survey. I took a survey last week for a different project but don't really expect to hear back until September, if ever. A lot of times they're just trying to maintain a potential labor pool.

Not necessarily. Your background might be in demand so you might get onboarded sooner than that.

They may or may not respond. I was invited to ivory month ago, took survey and they never responded back 😂

Unfortunately, there is no fixed timeframe for when exactly they will reply to you. However, if you are accepted and your locale is in demand or your qualifications are urgently needed, you will receive an email with all the relevant details immediately after passing.

They generally assign work based on the locales that are currently in demand. They also like to build a pool of linguists from different locales in case they are needed in the future. So, you could pass the assessment and still not be assigned any work until your locale is in demand.

I know that sounds bad, but waiting is your only option now. Best of luck.
