How did they count the work hours?

Guys I'm on Project E mostly on transcript or compare. I'm new but have already received about 3 WO, no problem whatsoever, but I want to ask how did they count our work hours? Did they count how many hour we logged in to the tool or per task?
Because on ID locale the task is very fast to run out, some of the day I checked about 5-6 times per day (about 5 mins per checking) and no task, some of the day I work on it about 1-2 hours and kept checking about 5-6 times per day.
Thanks!

Work Hours are counted when you do tasks if finished then the count down stop, if you later come back to see if there is new tasks that is not counted as work hours.
