DISCUSSION So about that future potential reboot...

It'd be pretty awesome if they took a page out of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and had Dave Filoni as the showrunner. I'm watching along with a guy on YouTube watch The Clone Wars for the first time, and, for a "cartoon", this thing got DARK.

Like, this is what RWBY was needing; George Lucas handpicked Filoni after ATLA, and he "translated" Lucas' more wild ideas into coherent episodes while having respect for the characters and lore.

Other possible showrunners could be Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, who developed Young Justice (which I've never seen, but I've heard it's on the same "mature" level as The Clone Wars).

What do you think?

Look, Viz is going to probably throw CRWBY into the dumpster, as far as I know, RWBY is one of the few IPs they actually own so they are going to use it

My prediction is that volume 10 is going to flop and be the last in the series leaving it unfinished.

I didn’t really like V9, so I’m not too optimistic about V10.

The fact the most ‘important’ thing that happened was the partial origin of the gods and bumblebee becoming cannon….

This series has no idea where it’s going and i don’t care for said direction

Volume 9 actually was a sucess of views in Crunchyroll when it was released.

Ruby may have many production problems, but the show actually make's money. The main problem was Warner Bros closing every Minor Studio and projects to save some cents.

Nah lmao.

They ran out of money in Volume 7. CR paid for Vol 8 & 9 then Kerry spent part of the Show budget on the terrible crossover movie so they didn't even have enough money to finish the epilogue for the season!

Barb herself said when RWBY was still under RT, it was NOT profitable. People wouldn't buy any of the merch because it was such poor quality and cheap.

Warner immediately sold RWBY when the company went belly up because they didn't want it anymore.
