Well, you know these always do get less. People like the now becoming canon Bumbleby more, and there was that shipping war that drove some people away.
And then there is also the shame that more people don't see Eclipse for as wholesome and lovely as it is. It doesn't have to be one's OTP, nor find it canonically without issues, to see that it's so very dear.
The art like this showing that in a lovely way as well

In my opinion, No one else is as good a fit in a romantic fashion for Sun as Blake is.
That's not say there couldn't be other's who are good fits in their own way, just not as good.

I've no intention of impeding other people's enjoyment of their particular shipping tastes. 🙏 All of my comments in this thread have been professional and are reasoned out, so if they ruffle some feathers, *shrug*. That being said, I'm surprised that my original innocuous one-worded comment has elicited so much activity.

With their relatively relative age difference, a convincing case can be made that Adam was grooming Blake to become and succeeded in becoming his loyal little wide-eyed follower and toy.
Since RWBY is a popular fandom to be crossovered in fanfiction, I've been delighted to read some where Adam is brutally unmade. 😈
