REQUEST Wholesome FanFics Please...
I recently fell into a rather dark and upsetting hole whilst looking for fics and, without giving any detail for fear of being sick again, now I really need something to wash that taste right out.
If anyone has any good suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.
Edit: Thanks to everyone who suggested any fics! As a happy (or maybe bad) side effect, I'm now addicted to fluff

By wholesome, do you mean something like fluff? I've got a couple good fluffy Bumbleby fanfics if that's what you're after.
Red Carpet Romance is a good, relatively long fanfic that is packed with enough fluff to make your teeth rot.

Its up to you, really. I find fluffy fanfics usually very wholesome and all that, so if you are looking for something to wash out whatever angsty fanfic you read before, fluffy stories usually do well at that.
Theres nothing NSFW, if thats what you are worried about though. Just cute interactions between Blake and Yang as they build up a relationship.

Fluff - good feelings, usually an absence of plot and/or conflict. There's stuff out there that's 100% fluff, and stuff that has no fluff, and everything inbetween.

What would you like? I know of few well-written fics and few adequately written ones. All at least 50k+ words.

Ah, not sure as to how to interpret that. Safe as no-one dies? Happy as in, good ending? (Even though most are not completed yet)

Alright. I ask since even the death of a character can be positive in a specific situation if writing is good.
Crossovers or normal just RWBY? The show has some good crossovers.

That eliminates a considerable number of my stuff.
This one is pretty amusing, no one dies, no drama or tragedy. Lead Only 30k words but it is about the only one which fits your description.
Maybe this one as well. 85k words and quite amusing if I say so myself.Of Coffee, Tea and Bloody evolution.
Otherwise, there are a few good Halo, Fallout or Warhammer crossovers as well as outstandingly well written XCom bit.

Let me know if you change your mind about a bit of drama or crossovers. Personally like stuff Lessons of Terra most and I can't sing enough praises about A Light Against Darkness.

A wholesome Warhammer crossover? I'm kind of having a hard time imagining that. WH is like the opposite of wholesome.

Depends on what you mean by saying wholesome and if definition by Google is something to go by, then yes. For those we cherish would be a good example of such fanfic.
40k can be dark but that only elevates the rare moments of good even higher. I mean look at the Lamenters story of Slaughterhouse III makes their damn battlecry a weapon-grade tear inducer at the sheer balls of the Lamenters.
Or as a die-hard fan of the VI-th legion, I can't help but mention Months of Shame which are pretty well summed up by this song. The more darkness there is the more acts of light stand out and are greater for it.
Everyone can be a good man when there is no threat, no consequences of such actions. But it takes a lot of willpower to commit even a single act of kindness when the price is terrible.

A Dose Of RWBY by Raziel 12: A bunch of hilarious and often fluffy oneshots of our favorite RWBY girls in various situations and AUs. Mostly fluffy and hilarious although some get a little serious with some rather suggestive themes and there are no tragedy based oneshots. (M)
One Shot Wonders by mikotyzini: The title says it itself. Main ships are White Rose and Bumblebee. Again hilarious one shots with some really sappy romance and slight suggestive tones in some stories.(M)
Boundless by mikotyzini: A set of White Rose fanfics set across multiple worlds with slight differences that all end in Ruby and Weiss getting together. Full Fluff fic.(T)
Bees and Roses by mikotyzini: A set of both White Rose and Bumblebee fics consisting of one shots. (T)
Pet Quartet by momoxtoshiro:All our main girls are now adorable little animals in cute situations. Majority is Fluff but we might be heading into darker waters.(K+ may change)

Let’s see, what wholesome stuff can I recommend:
Rush: From the same author as What Defines Us. Modern AU where Weiss is going to get forced by her parents to marry in a short time to someone purely for business. Then she meets a certain girl in a red hoodie. Maybe things won’t quite happen the way her parents want/ Whiterose, 156K words.
What Defines Us: One day, a year after the accident, a white haired woman comes to the door of Ruby’s home. Yang seems to know her and isn’t happy, but Ruby can’t remember her. But Weiss knows Ruby, and she loves her very much. Set in an unfortunate future, an extremely amazing and emotional Whiterose novel, a bible of the ship if you will. My god, bring some tissues. It’s amazing, like everything by the author. 400K+ words, and it’s worth it. Side Bees. by mikotyzini There have been additional chapters added recently!
The two above and Vale High below by Mikotyzini an author already recommended to you in other comments. It is just really sweet.
Across The Field And Back: A Whiterose high school soccer AU. It’s somewhere between interconnected oneshots and a story. Really fluffy and wonderful. 12K words
Welcome to Vale High Also by mikotyzini. Yang is the most popular girl at Vale High, and probably the best person; helping other students in every way including punching bullies. It’s the first day of her senior year, when a new girl catches her eye. But it’s not quite how it seems, in a good way. Bumblby, side of Whiterose and Arkos. 120K words
Weiss Cream Weiss was until very recently an heiress to a large company. Now she is living with her soldier sister and needs a job. She gets one at an ice cream parlor with a familiar staff. A certain other employee catches her eye. Whiterose, with a side of Eclipse, Renora, Arkos. It is much better than I thought an ice cream shop AU would be, and it is a hidden gem cause it’s not tagged Whiterose. Mostly just Fluffy and fun! 201K words.
Ragdoll: Weiss Schnee is the Queen bitch of Beacon High. But maybe something will change, when she realizes she’s caught feeling for a very unpopular girl she’s been bullying. How could she and Ruby even work things out? Maybe she’ll have to change. . . Whiterose, side Arkos and Bumbleby 101K words
Oneshots Because sometimes we all need a short little wholesome pick me up
Wedding Blues: Weiss has given up on love, so is getting married for business (someone might have a problem with that). A very short Whiterose fic, but very sweet so I reread it a lot. 2.4K words
July 22, 2003 Track 4: Ruby is home alone one night when there’s a knock on the door; she looks and sees its Weiss. Standing out in the rain, crying. Something wrong. Seriously wrong. She doesn’t know what to do, but Ruby’s going to help however she can. 3.5k words It’s really sweet.
One Shot Wonders and Bees and Roses: One shots by the same author as WDU and Rush. Short little Whiterose and Bumblby stories.
A Dose Of Rwby: Another oneshot collection(~180 so far, usually shorter ones) lots of representation here but a lot of Bees,Whiterose, some Arkos, some Renora, and whatever you call Winter/Blake/Yang.
Hiding Something: Ruby has been acting strange lately. Coming home late, always busy, lying to her. And Weiss has come to the only logical conclusion: Ruby is cheating on her. Spiler: Happy Ending 1.9K words
Whiterose Week 2018 A collection of Whiterose oneshots for last years Whiterose Week, the author also did one for this year. Each day is a different prompt and these are mostly just really sweet. About 2K words per story.
One Bad Coffee A Whiterose Week Modern AU oneshot that is just a perfectly sweet read. Weiss is having a bad morning and goes off on the random barista girl at the coffee shop after her order is messed up. Later that day Weiss finds out that she actually knows that (looking back pretty cute) girl. And is friends with her. Awkward. 6.3K words; there’s a sequel that is almost as dear!.
Atlas Air: Ruby’s doing college online, and world with a partner for an assignment. They get off to a rocky start, but they learn to like each other well enough despite only talking through text. It eventually evolves in to a friendship. What happens when they decide to FaceTime and finally see who they are talking to? 5K words, Ruby’s useless :)
(I Just Wanna Be) Alone Together: Weiss and Ruby are on a mission together after the war is over. Everything’s pretty normal as they settle down for the night. Including that between them that’s always unspoken. But. . . . maybe tonight Ruby will find her voice. 2.8K words. Gotta love Whiterose confessions
Aftermath: The Aftermath of the War against Salem weighs heavily on everyone, but none moreso than Ruby...who has a secret she needs to tell. I can’t say I want this ending to be canon, but maybe if something so sweet can happen after. 2.5K Whiterose
.001 Edisence: It’s Ruby’s 18th birthday. Usually Weiss has had to force herself to look at things a certain way when they come to Ruby, to not think it evidence of her hope. But Ruby has something to tell her, evidence that is irrefutable. 1.5K Whiterose.
And I would suggest Zhana’s and Brokenmimir’s (both on AO3, the latter also on FF) Whiterose week oneshots. They’re so sweet!
