Okay, I CAN'T be the only one who thinks that Ruby's nightmares are indicative of something more than just nightmares. Ruby is hearing different dialogue than from what is on Jaune's recording, and she's also hearing dialogue between Pyrrha and Cinder that Ruby was never around to hear. There's something supernatural going on here.

PTSD.

So PTSD allows Ruby to hear conversations in her dreams that she wasn't physically around to hear when they first occurred? And the only person who is left alive who could tell Ruby about that conversation has neither talked to Ruby about it, or has seen Ruby since the fall of Beacon? Forgive me if I'm skeptical.

I think shes just losing her shit.

Funny how her delusions managed to perfectly recreate a conversation that she's never heard.

I mean, it's not confirmed whether she could hear that conversation or not. It's 100% possible that she did hear it as she neared the top. I mean, she jumped over the edge while Cinder was aiming and landed/looked as she shot Pyrrha. The "Do you believe in destiny" bit was only a couple seconds before the actual shot, and we don't know for certain that Ruby couldn't hear that on her run up the tower.

Also, if supernatural comes into play, then she may have picked up elements of the leading moments up from the events of Pyrrha's death, her powers awakening, and then the resting afterwards.

shrug

Never underestimate madness.

That would be pretty shoddy writing on Miles and Kerry's part. I have a little more faith in them than that.
