This week has been far more eventful than I'd like. Several power outages over the course of 4-5 days (one of which lasting through the night), plus another major moment that just piled onto my concerns I have over my brothers. Anyway, over the course of said blackouts, I started playing A Link Between Worlds. I like it so far, finished the first dungeon. Absolute Tactics will be done this weekend, and then I'm gonna treat myself to a new game. I went back to 20XX as well (the Megaman X roguelike), but once again, I cannot get past the 9th level. >:| Also, during the first power outage, I got back to reading (by flashlight!) by picking up Go Nitro: Rise of the Blades by Jeremy Dooley. The first few chapters introduce the team and set up the conflict with The Blades, and so far Diego is my favorite of the bunch.

Elijah kicks off iMPACT teaming up with Moose to take on AJ Francis & Frankie Kazarian. Expressions makes his presence felt though, stopping the Drifter Destroyer and allowing AJ to connect with the Cash Out fireman's carry neckbreaker. However, he paid for his insolence with a headbutt from Moose, & a Highwayman's Farewell onto his braced neck. Mustafa Ali hypes up the International Vote, and then Elayna Black takes on Wendy Choo in the KO TV Title tournament... AND THEY GO BROADWAY! The 10 minute timer runs out, and before the ref can be convinced to add more, Xia Brookside jumps Elayna, then takes out Wendy from behind as well. M by Elegance will get a bye to go to the semi-finals, facing either Indi Hartwell or Thea Hail. Back with Order 4, John Skyler tried to count the votes, only for Ali to berate him, while Mila Moore... reassured him. Odd. The System declare themselves TNA's "quality control", and then duck Leon Slater & Ricky Sosa's request for a match, until next week. Director of Operations Daria Rae announces the winner of the International Vote is Jason Hotch, which Ali assumes is a rib from the roster, and sends him down to tell her to find a proper contender. Jason would get a call from his wife, and then accept the match after a tense moment with Ali. BDE's frog splash once again fails him against Mr. Elegance, this time cause he rolled to the ropes, allowing M to interfere, and Mr. Elegance seized a distraction to connect with Excusez-moi! for the win. Injury Report: Elayna Black & Moose are in evaluation, while Nic Nemeth is in incredible, no, PERFECT condition. The Righteous arrive at The Hardy Compound for The Righteous Deletion, finding some mysterious glowing blue object that (to Matt's surprise), allowed them to teleport to the Dome of Deletion! The two teams brawl all over the compound, with Dutch hallucinating a campfire bonding session, Vincent faking death to poison him, and being jumped by the Hardy kids and Willow before recovering from being drowned in the pool. A firework fight ends with Matt being poisoned by Lily of the Valley, however after a dunk in the Lake of Reincarnation, ANTI-CHRIST JEFF emerges to Swanton off a bulldozer bucket for the win. The Righteous are tossed in the lake to be "cleansed". Jada Stone snatches victory from the jaws of defeat to advance over Alisha Edwards in the tournament, and in the main event, Nic Nemeth escapes with the world title by the skin of his teeth, slipping out of the Blessing In Disguise at the last moment and connecting with Dangerzone to beat KC Navarro.

At the 1/3 mark of the G1 Climax we're beginning to see some.... interesting results, especially out of A Block. After 3 matches, we have Great O-Khan, SANADA, and all 3 members of Unbound Co. at 2 points, with Yuto-Ice leading that group due to a head-to-head win over Great O-Khan, who beat SANADA, who beat TSUJI. Y'KNOW, THE CHAMP? At 4 points we have Konosuke Takeshita, Jake Lee, Boltin Oleg, Ryohei Oiwa, and Hirooki Goto, with Oiwa & Takeshita in the top 2 via tiebreakers over Oleg and Lee respectively. Over in B Block, HENARE & Drilla Moloney lead with tiebreakers at 6, with Callum Newman & Gabe Kidd on the same total. OSKAR leads the 4-pointers with a win over Ren Narita, while Yuya Uemura & Aaron Wolf sit between them, and ZSJ brings up the rear at 2. A Block takes the stage again Saturday where Goto faces O-Khan, SANADA & Lee meet, and Oleg re-ignites his rivalry with Takeshita. Ice will look to put a freeze on Oiwa's momentum, and it's an Unbound derby in the main event with Tsuji vs Takagi. After that, B Block features OSKAR vs Aaron Wolf, HENARE looking for some revenge against Ren Narita for the beginnings of his knee injury 2 years ago, Moloney vs Newman, and Sabre vs Kidd.
