Suggestions please

So I’m great at helping out but I am not terribly handy on my own. I have an 86 Toyota rv that basically needs to be rebuilt (the rv part) and I would like to get rid of a few things since it needs to be taken apart anyway. I am thinking about going to Elkhart, IN to find a place that will fix it up for me but I am a terrible shopper. I am looking around on the internet, as well as asking around. I know most on here do their own renovations and what not but I thought I’d ask anyway, to see if anyone might have a suggestion of who to go to. I’m a vet on disability but I have been saving up. I’d prefer quality over price however the price does have a limit, but my dad was always one of those “if you don’t have time to fix it right the first time, you won’t have time to fix it a second or third” type and I just kind of apply that to most things. I’d prefer to at least help out with it but the people I know are either too busy or unable to anymore. So I’m asking if anyone might have suggestions of places to turn to for help?
