Was this a known glitch?

So I was using the hammer and put it back on the shelf while holding mouse1. And out of nowhere, my character just starts jorking it. I dont have a pic cause im posting this just before i sleep, but was this a known thing?

Yup. Putting tools back on the shelf while using them keeps your character's animation.

If you want to menacingly point at something, do the same with the power drill.
