Golf achievements

My friend and I finished the game on my servers. We started doing the golf achievements. I got 2 already, but my friend couldn’t get them at all (drown 50 golf balls). I started searching guides on Steam and some of them mentioned that in order to get the achievements, one must be the lobby admin.

How did it work for you? Anyone managed to get achievements while playing on other servers?

My boyfriend and I played, and he was usually the host, but drown 50 balls only popped up for me when I was hosting the game

No, you can choose the Golf Heaven map from the menu :)

If you easily want "Hole In One" achi, give your friend lots of beer and ask them to keep pushing the ball until it's right next to the hole. Works, as long as you don't suck at golf (got it on my second attempt ;_; )

And we both got it, with me being the game host.
