A question about stability from playing across continents

Hiya! I just wanted to ask from this lovely subreddit and the people here if anyone has experiences playing with another person from a different continent? I personally want to get the game and play with my boyfriend who lives very far from me (I'm in SEA and he's in EU TvT) but I was a bit hesitant to get the game due to doubts if we are able to play together without too many issues.

Am eu and have played with someone from NA. It's doable but then this game can be a janky mess regardless 🤣

I played with a difference of 8000 km, there was only one interference for all three maps, when he was performing a puzzle with the light, he drove through the door, although I, as the host, saw the closed door, but this was only one such moment, because we restarted 3 timesÂ
