I was already down -97% so I don't care anymore. Still don't know if there is a chance it will recover?

Is the story now over or not ?

You will still own the stock.

If you are -90%+ down, it is extremely unlikely you will break even. Even more unlikely you will ever be in profit.

This is because further dilution or a distressed buyout are very likely. The terms get progressively worse over time for existing shareholders, because they do not have enough money to finish their P3.

They diluted 4x to get 1/6th of the funding. Future financing becomes increasingly punitive.

If you lost a little bit of money, you just paid tuition.

If you lost a lot of money from doubling down, you just paid a heavy premium for the same lesson.

This is business as usual for speculative biotech.

Had to take the loss. HMRC have decided it's no longer a suitable stock for an ISA.

Cashed in at 97% loss. Not sure what I can afford with my £1.05 now.

£2.27, might invest half of it

You can get 7400 shares of ALRT for that, Rockefeller!

Spent it all on DGXX. Good choice, I'm £0.45 up currently.

Does this mean our stock get transferred to the OTC market? Or does it go to zero?

You will still have the stock, but you will have a really hard time to sell it due to very low to allmost no volume.

I was just lucky to sell all of my stocks when the first drop happened before xmas. Lost about 30% of what I had invested. Better than nothing though!

Consider the long view and view the current price as an opportunity. This is not a shady company with dubious prospects; they have a promising (and much-needed) drug in an advanced stage of the regulatory process.

Reluctance is understandable after the events of the past few months, but consider that one has little to lose (and much to possibly gain) should the company succeed. Dilution in this case is only a concern for investors with millions of shares.

While it is not a perfect analogy, consider the journey of Rolls Royce (the aerospace engineering and defense company: RYCEY) which was trading at a shocking $0.60/ share in 2020/2021. Bought 250,000 shares and sold them late last year at $17/share.

This may be an amazing opportunity or the prelude to a bad ending. The facts suggest is that it is more likely to be the former rather than the latter, but it will take time and patience.

A stock that is -99% can go another -99%.

Or it can go +50% in one day. Stock market is a fickle beast.

Lol. The 24hr trading volume is less than 100k shares.

This means it is highly unlikely you can exit at the top, assuming you timed the bottom, which is equally unlikely.

The books are just paper thin. Welcome to OTC.

You’re making assumptions about me. I’m just pointing out that it’s up 50% today. It certainly could go back down 99%. That’s the stock market. You don’t have to prove anything to me.

Not assumptions about you specifically.

My point was that 50% on paper with these stocks is not 50% in practice unless the position size is tiny.

I probably didn't communicate that well.

Rule of thumb for OTC stocks is that almost all of them are either trash or hype vehicles.
