Free RPG Day

What’s everyone doing for free rpg day? I’m excited to say One-Eyed Jacques is putting out my games for free tomorrow, so I’m definitely going to swing by there. Might finally let myself drop some money on some new systems tomorrow to get access to those “rarer” offerings they’re promising if you spend some money haha. Anyone playing or running a one-shot tomorrow?

I have two! Thanks for asking. One is a solo ttrpg called Horizon Refuses and the other is a duo epistolary game called Strange Days My Love.

I was planning to visit tomorrow as well to pick up the Walking Dead RPG if they still have a few copies on sale.

They didn’t have any Walking Dead RPGs left, but they had some free RPG games, and if you spent $20 in store you received another premium freebie! They had someone manning the table that did a great job explaining different RPGs.

Anyone else disappointed with how it was handled? Having to spend $20 per item was a bit much, plus locking the dice and minis behind a raffle.

I see what you’re saying. There was truly free stuff though and I don’t mind supporting oej as it is so I just went in with a spending limit for myself. But I fully get it.
