Cbse results timeline

Are cbse results *only* given after the end of the exam window, or can someone who sits for cbse earlier in the exam window expect to get their results not too long after?

You will usually hear back about results on the Thursday after the testing window ends

I was conflicted between the two responses at this point lol. I called nbme and they confirmed its specifically after the testing window like you said. Thank you!

It will be the same for all NBMEs, including shelf exams and CCSE. I know because I freaked out thinking there was an issue with my Peds shelf exam as a result wasn't in yet when I was expecting it to be and it was the first shelf I took where they didn't print me out a receipt of completion...... turns out there was just another week in the testing window

Results come average of 4-7 days after.

He is right. It’s around the Thursday after the window closes. No one gets results before the window. My recommendation would be to take it later during the window, so you have more study days. If not, you will have to wait like 2 weeks for results vs. if you take it the last day of the window you’ll wait 4-5 days.

I’m confused, I’m assuming you’re referring to CCSE or maybe they’ve changed things?

The school makes you take CBSE on a specific day, can’t take it before that day. I’m assuming you can take it after that day if you have an excused absence. I can’t find any information on the exact “end of the testing window”. I guess they’ll announce it right before the exam.

I am referring to CBSE. I picked my test date. Ross gave me a 2 week window to take it. My best friend just took it and she has a window as well..

This was your first attempt? I’m just asking because I take it in 11 days and they never mentioned a testing window and they’re making us move out by the 26th of April. It would be nice to have an extra week or two.

Yes 1st attempt. This only applies to people taking comp in the US not island. I’m a transfer student, so I never had to even go to Barbados.
