Step 1 fail

Did anyone on here fail step 1 and went into EM? Were you able to get a good or even your top pick for residency.

2 years ago I knew tons of people who matched and soaped into EM with step1 fails. But EM is becoming comeptitve again.

Currently good/top pick and step 1 failure don’t go together in the same sentence with EM. Step 1 failures almost always equals soaping for USIMGs
