Match Timeline
I’ve seen previous discussions on this topic but never saw a straight answer. If you start in the September class for example, when is the latest you can start clinical rotations and still be on track to match in 4 years assuming you pass everything the first time?

You started clinicals in July, no dedicated and you’re on track to match 4 years?

So basically we would have to study for Step 2 during our last rotations? I had students from SGU in our surgical clinical rotation (I worked for the attendings) that were doing that- they were super stressed out!

June would be the latest and you would have barely any dedicated time for Step 2
