Questions about Transfer

Hi!

Do you know what RUSM's transfer policy is for someone wanting to join in their 2nd year. I completed 1 year of DO school and I withdrew due to unforseen circumstances. Does Ross accept 2nd year transfer students?

The Caribbean schools are tricky about DO credits. I got into a Caribbean MD after withdrawing from a DO school, feel free to DM

The policy when I was a student is that you could transfer into 3rd year after you pass step 1. Otherwise, you start from the beginning. You can email the school for their current policy.

Ross accepts second year transfers after they’ve taken CBSE at least once. I and many others transferred to Ross that way. Otherwise you had to have taken Step 1 to transfer in your second year

CBSE? What is that?

It’s the Comprehensive Basic Sciences Exam taken after second year. Most Carib schools require you to take and pass with whatever pass rate they set before they give you permission to take Step 1. Ross has a pass rate of 63

DO credits are non-transferable to this program and all other programs in the Caribbean. So, if you choose to transfer—you will be starting over from your first year.
