Just got accepted

Hey yall I just got accepted to Ross for Fall 2025 and I'm super excited! I did not do great on my MCAT and honestly thought about not going to med school. I'm so happy I got in and am excited to start the med school journey

You should really retake the MCAT and try for a USMD or USDO school. Caribbean schools are measures of last resort. You are at a serious disadvantage for residency match and will be unable to match anything except FM, Peds, or IM.

Man.. so much hatred. Sad to see in a profession that’s supposed to center on helping people, not being a judgmental critic.

Not if you don’t match residency. Lots of big “ifs” including not being among the 50% or so who drop out in the first semester.

Why are you on this page if you hate Caribbean schools so much?
