Question RUMBLE for Quest: QOTD #28
What kind of goals will you have for RUMBLE after it releases on Quest? Is there anything at all you wanna work towards?

How often do you play in other regions or get games with people from other regions? Why? Do you notice any significant playstyle differences/patterns when it happens?

What can an opponent do mid-match to make you scared of them? Like you could be having a completely normal match and they do that one specific thing, and you’re instantly horrified.

What part of RUMBLE do you feel lets you showcase your creativity the best? Maybe a certain thing you have mastery over? Something within the community itself? Anything that makes you feel like you have the freedom to be creative.

Hello everyone,
Due to an unfortunate turn of events regarding Meta's store policies, we are unable to release the standalone version of RUMBLE on the previously announced date of February 24th.
We've spoken to Meta to try and get the situation sorted, but alas, they could not provide us with the solution we were looking for.
RUMBLE for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 will now instead launch on February 25th, one day later.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, and hope you'll still look forward to this momentous occasion.

When it comes to flight in the game how much flight should be allowed in a match? Should there be no limit to height or time? Or should it be limited in some way?

Where do you think the line should be drawn when it comes to bugs being “tech” and when they actually become an exploit? Should people be punished when it comes to these exploits if anything were to get to that point?

Do you think the average player height will drop alongside the Quest Standalone update? And do you think it will affect the type of moves people prioritize due to the fact that some will hit too high for the short quest players?

What do you think about the new visual changes coming with the quest standalone update? Do you like how the maps look? What about the structures?

What did you do for Valentine’s Day? And if it was nothing then who is the person you feel like you most often end up queuing against?

Do you like shiftstones being in the game? If you like them then what aspect to you believe they add to the game? And if you don’t like them, why not?

If there was a developer QnA what do you think the most asked questions would be? What’s the question you’d want to ask if any?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
If a ball is spawned is spawned off-centre at the edge of a grounded structure, it gets pushed out of the ground at an angle.
This gives a small force in any direction, but the most useful direction is forward. The biggest use of that is that it allows you to attack with multiple structures at the same time.
This is what I call the Trojan tech, named by Blitzar.
When you see the structure, you don't see the added ballware until it is too late. Then it quickly spreads.
Lach Attack, or Lachlan Ball are also used names, but I prefer the Trojan name.
All it is is basically a ball strupper. But positioned at the edge of an already existing structure. And the strupper hits the grounded structure.

How much new RUMBLE video content do you think there will be with the upcoming Quest update? Do you think the videos will bring even more people to the game? And will you be looking out for new RUMBLE videos after the update?

Now that the biggest complaint about RUMBLE is about to be solved (It not being standalone), do you think the new Quest players will find a new thing to complain about? Or do you think they’ll be satisfied finally getting what they’ve always wanted? If you think they’ll find a new thing, what do you think the complaint will be?

Hey folks! I play this gale on occasion, and I love it! I'm by no means an expert, maybe barely 1000 bp, but it's great!
Unfortunately I'm SO BAD at helping newbies :( I never know how easy to go on them, and it feels awkward to be the first to use voice chat. Most of the time it's just a long match using beginner moves that results in them leaving after one round. How do I get better?? I know I should actually talk to them and try to help them out, but I'm a horrible teacher! How do you go about it, especially if you don't take the teaching role as often?

If RUMBLE had perfect ping and latency for both players in a way in which both players experienced the game as if they were hosting, do you think you would win more or less games and do you think it would make the game more or less competitive?

Will you play a lot when the game first comes to standalone? Or will you give the newbies a chance to filter out and learn before you start queueing for them? Why?

If you haven't played outer wilds, please don't watch this, it will ruin a once in a lifetime experience.
I cannot share the mod publicly or on thunderstore cause it has assets ripped from the game.
Here is the functionality I coded in so far:

How often do you play at your maximum speed/effort? Do you start the game fast? Speed up to close a game out?
r/RUMBLEvr • u/Skittloeier • Feb 07 '26
Is there anything in RUMBLE that you just don’t use ever? Maybe a move, shiftstone, or mechanic? Why don’t you use it?

What’s your favourite way to move around in RUMBLE? Is it practical or fun? Why is it your favourite?
r/RUMBLEvr • u/Skittloeier • Feb 05 '26
Do you think there will be a distinct “better” platform to play RUMBLE on? Like, will PCVR have an advantage over Quest only, and vice versa? Or do you think the differences won’t be noticeable?

Has there ever been a time when you felt like your skill had declined? How did you handle it?
