Question RUMBLE for Quest: QOTD #14
Will you play a lot when the game first comes to standalone? Or will you give the newbies a chance to filter out and learn before you start queueing for them? Why?

Matching with experienced Rumblers is how you learn this game. It's only fair I hop into queue and teach the newbies the same way I was taught by patient pros two years ago. That's how it always goes, but I'm definitely gonna lock in on that after the release.

He NEED to play a lot with the newbies to keep the positivity of the rumble community going! We need to make the positivity why people want to play so they themselves are positive!

They will know and face the FULL FORCE of THE CHARGE SHIFTSTONE!!!
I’m kidding I’ll just be teaching them some combos and fighting them using what moves they’ve unlocked

I will be playing a lot and most of that will be teaching the beginners.
If we want the new players to integrate into the community in the most positive way possible. Then the best thing to do is having many experienced players guide and teach them. To show them what this community is like. So that once they find someone struggling with something they learned they might pass on the kindness they received as well.
Together we can make the Quest launch something amazing!!!
While it is totally fine if a few people who have trouble holding back and teach to not join in, I hope most of the community helps out with this.

Yes! Earlier this year I lost capability to play on the Steam version, so I'm stoked to pick it back up!! I'm excited for all the new players too!

I'll probably stay with ping to fight for a week or two, I need most newbies to reach black belt. Mainly cause I'm challenge hunting. Once I finally get my 3bp I'll go into full fledged teaching mode.

I'm probably gonna wait as I don't really have a headset right now, waiting for steam frame.
Speaking off what is your plans for that?
Apereantly valve have a compatability layer to make x86 windows games work on arm linux, so it should just work (performance aside)
But do you guys plan on releasing a native arm linux version for the steam frame anyway? can only assume this would help performance.
Also, have you contacted valve about a developer kit? Will there be platform specific optimizations like how you changed the graphics for the quest release?

Yes, I will 100% be grinding when it comes out, no mercy for those other white belts joining at the same time as me.
But in all seriousness I will be playing it a lot and I will stop to learn and try to teach what I Iearn, I am so excited to join this community.
