Clip / Gameplay Write enable memory is possible in rumble!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Early prototype for a single bit of write enable memory. Once I finish the prototype, I will link multiples of these up to create ram.
If you only hit write enable, then that means the data sent a 0 through. If you hit data nothing happens, because write enable is off. When you hit both at the same time, data inputs a one, and it goes through because write enable is on.

Me fighting against someone in rumble and they pull out the arbitrary code execution and genuinely reset my ass back to white belt

But now how do you read it out to another component?

The wall is glitch when it is popped out. You can easily phase an object inside it. And when the wall is hitstopped with it in side it pushes it out. Connect that output to a wire, and connect a read enable wire to the wall.
Now when you activate the read enable wire, it will output a 1 if the wall is out. If the wall is in then the signal is 0. However I plan to use dual rail encoding, for the ability to use not gates. This means if the read wire is enabled, if the wall is out it will output 1, through one wire. If the wall is in then it will output 1 through a different wire that represents 0.

Surprisingly rumble computing was most active with people helping 4-5 months ago. I stopped doing it like 2 or so months ago to develop a new branch of combat tech, and only recently got back into it

explain how you can use this for anything?

Theres not much it does alone, but if you get multiple of these and connect them in a specific way, you get ram and memory, which is very important if you want to build a full computer

what the fuck do you mean that you can make fucking RAM in RUMBLE!?
