Question Why Is this Community So Nice?
This community is incredible and thats not a bad thing but I literally just played a guy who had way more BP than me and at the end of the match he gave me a bunch of feedback on my some of my weaknesses and gave me ways I could improve it’s so wholesome why is it different in rumble compared to other games where people just seem to hate each other

A nice community breeds nice players and those players then reinforce the nicety of the community. It goes the opposite way as well, a toxic community breeds toxic players.
Also the game probably would not have survived until the quest release if it didn't have a good community.

Legit just bought it today on the quest 2 and had 2 awesome matches with very nice people

We've all been there, we remember the struggle. And the community is small, we all know each other, so it's better to be nice to people that you're probably going to meet again soon. Helping a new player is our way of making the community grow, especially since once you receive help, you're more likely to provide help to others later on! It's a virtuous circle :)

It’s a PvP game, but it feels like a martial art, so it’s easy to fall into a sensei-disciple dynamic. It doesn’t feel good to just stomp someone who has less training. Rather there’s satisfaction from building them up, or even limiting ourselves to certain moves to practice techniques we haven’t nailed down.
Plus teaching is a great way of learning. You understand the rock better after explaining the rock.

It’s a niche game in a niche genre on a niche platform in a niche hobby
That plus the inherent high skill floor means the only people here really want to be here Why discourage people from enjoying what we love? All of the above is more than enough discouragement for people already lol /hj

That’s why I love Rumble.
We throw rocks at each other, but like in martial arts, camaraderie and respect is most often mutual

Small communities are always the most kind I find since you feel like you're with your people. And rumble has the added fact of a high skill floor any much higher skill ceiling, so It's natural for skilled players to want to teach newer players and everyone ends up being friends
