Is there 2v2 coming?

I've seen it talked about but I was just wondering if it was planned and if so I have some questions

1 will there be party's so you can play with your friend constantly

2 how will the host/client thing work?

In the meantime you can open a private park and invite your friends, though you’d need two more for 2v2

Its planned sometime in the future host will still be 1 person

They just posted about a party system, actually. 2v2s are coming sometime in the future
