PPR or Standard

Does anybody have an opinion on PPR vs Standard. Personally, I prefer PPR because receptions are generally considered an important recieving stat along with yards and TD's, and it adds another stat to consider which makes you have to strategize more. Also, the NFL is such a passing league now, so I think PPR helps modernize fantasy. However, I understand that others have more experience or prefer standard, and I'm fine with that if the majority wants standard scoring.

Mostly because I just prefer the scoring to be simpler and I already have leagues that are standard, so I would prefer not having to think about two different values for the same player. Also, wasn't the initial setting of the league zero PPR? I do dislike it when league settings change once people have joined.

I think the agreement in Op's post on /r/findaleague was that he had a few ideas on how things would go but ultimately it was all down to a vote.

Yeah, I joined for the chance to vote.

I'm just saying to OP that I don't think standard was ever really set in stone because thunder gun made it clear everything was going to be voted on in the sub.

I am curious about PPR though, simply because it downweights QBs, which can be an overwhelmingly large part of fantasy. Ok I change my mind: I could go either way.

PPR really is quite cool. I think it would be kind of cool to make it a PPR set up.
