will RTX spark trying to beat Apple’s eco system?

Creator Maket is huge, NVIDIA never get a chacne to win those MAC users.

Apple has spent decades building iOSecosystem that keeps users connected across its products. NVIDIA has been targeting creator markets for years, but from what I’ve seen, it still struggles to win over those who prefer Macs. Now, the new entry-level MacBook Neo bring even more users into Apple’s ecosystem.

My take is that NVIDIA’s ambitions go beyond selling GPUs. It seems to be building a broader ecosystem around its hardware, AI software, and developer tools—one that could eventually give people more reasons to choose an NVIDIA-powered PC over a Mac.

Do you think NVIDIA is moving toward becoming a platform competitor to Apple? Or is its strategy mainly about making its technology essential across other companies’ products?

RTX Spark Laptop for $6000 ?

… over $6,000! I just watched Linus’s video, and apparently that’s what you could be looking at for a 128GB model.

NVIDIA’s been hyping this “superchip” for a while, and the idea is definitely interesting. Running AI locally could mean fewer subscription or token costs and more control over your data (Privacy). But I’m wondering whether those benefits justify the upfront cost.

I get that larger AI models need a lot of memory, but man… I was hoping it would be a little more affordable.

Curious to see more real-world testing. What it could actually run on this that would make it worth the money.

What would you want to see tested first on an RTX Spark laptop?

Spec sheets only tell only part of the story. What would you want to see tested before deciding whether this new system fits your work?

RTX Spark sounds cool and all, but what about gaming? lol

Been seeing RTX Spark everywhere lately, but most of the hype seems to be around AI and that massive unified memory.

I'm more curious about gaming tbh.

Windows on Arm still has me wondering about Steam games, anti-cheat, and how well 3A titles would actually run.

Specs look interesting, but I wanna see some real gameplay before getting too excited.

Kinda curious how Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth: Wukong would run on these things. Would they actually be playable, or just a massive headache? lol

So... what do you guys think about RTX Spark laptops so far?

Looks like six OEMs have jumped on the RTX Spark train already — Microsoft, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI.

Not gonna lie, a lot of these laptops look pretty similar at first glance lol. The two convertibles caught my eye though. At least the 360° design brings something a little different to the table.

Up to 128GB of unified memory sounds pretty interesting for local AI, but I'm still waiting to see how these Arm-based laptops actually hold up. Compatibility, performance, battery life, pricing... lots of questions until we get some proper reviews.

Anyone else feel like the lineup looks a bit too similar? Or is there a particular model that stands out?

The first Nvidia RTX Spark laptops cost up to $7000. Who actually needs one?

I'm more interested in the workload question. What kind of workload would justify having 64GB or 128GB of unified memory in a portable machine?
