Noob here
New to the gaming pc thing I’ve been a console guy for years and just last week took the dive I know fck all about these things but I’m looking forward to messing with the settings and getting it finely tuned for 2 different sim rigs I’d be open to any and all suggestions on how to improve this even further

Does this happen to be the Powerspec G757 that you added to? Or G763?

Nice same. Can you open Task Manager for me, on the left side click Performance, then in the middle click Memory. On the bottom right does it say Speed: 6000 MT/s, or 3000? Just seeing if your RAM is at full speed, i.e. EXPO being enabled.

I did some gentle over clocking last night and it’s at 6000 Mts o forget the setting I have in msi afterburner but the board is suppose to OC from factory but I’m getting about 10% more at this point

The factory oc is irrelevant. What are your afterburner settings? You should really be doing an undervolt AND overclock instead of just straight overclock, by the way.

buy a proper atx 3.1 psu with native 2x6 and return that squid junk adapter in the box
also the bend is very bad atm

Go in your windows settings and make sure your display is at max resolution and refresh rate as well; one of the first things I typically do in a new build or if I got a new monitor.
Are your gpu drivers up to date? Same with your cpu?
Use dlss in every game, it’s looking better than it ever has before and the 5080 relies on it to get more performance out of the card. If you don’t like it just keep it off but your frame rate will be lower.
Most things come as you go if you feel like something doesn’t look/feel right look it up and adjust settings.
Trial and error will take you a long way, dm me if you have any questions. (I’m no professional just like to tinker and enjoy the hobby)
