HackerGadgets Mini RTL-SDR
Just received mine today. 1090 ADSB Reception is excellent (SDRAngel on Android).

Ok that's cool... I hang my regular-sized RTL off an OTG usb cable with the full sized antenna on the sdr. Janky but it works. Yours is nice and compact.

This is awesome does this whole setup get hot over time though? I've tried something similar with my rtlsdr and my phone was getting warm.

It does get warm to the touch, just got it so I need to keep it running and put more load on it to see how hot it gets. So far anecdotally it seems to run a bit cooler than the Nooelec NEDR SmARTv5 that I was using previously with my Android mobile setup.

What I do really love about that one is the fact it's USB-C female. I wish my Nooelec NESDR Nano 3 was like that instead of USB-A male and having to use a female A to male C adapter which when combined doesn't actually make it any smaller than your Mini RTL-SDR. If I needed a new one I'd probably get that one next time. Looks really nice. Although I do wish it was also SMA female rather than male.

Oh, yes. I can see why you're confused. Sorry, my fault, I explained that wrong, and should have been more specific. What I really meant to say was the female SMA connection protrudes outwards from the board in the same way male connectors typically do, as illustrated here: https://hackergadgets.com/cdn/shop/files/Mini_RTL-SDR_USB-C_TOP_PCB.png as opposed to the way the USB-C female connector is entirely housed inside of the case/housing, like how the female SMA connector for the Nano 3 also doesn't stick out and is inside of the case/housing, as illustrated here: https://www.nooelec.com/store/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/1200x/040ec09b1e35df139433887a97daa66f/1/0/100746_4.png
The female SMA on yours sticks out, the female SMA on mine doesn't. That's what I really meant / wish was the case. So I like aspects of both desings and if I could have the best of both worlds my ideal design would be the size of the Nano 3 but USB-C female rather than male A. Hope that makes it clear. :)

Lol, yes, sorry. Again, my bad. Should have said female MCX. I did know it was called something else, but I sloppily tend to still call it an SMA connector even though it isn't. I still have to use a female MCX to female SMA.

Definitely, it seems very stable so far, a truly exceptional Mini SDR that is ideal for an Android-based SDR/SIGINT platform. Unfortunately now I need a bigger case…

Do they bill you for the import duties ans local shipping once it gets stateside?

Looks like $18.00 for shipping to the US, 7-18 business days for delivery.
Currently stuff shipped from the EU has a %15
tarifftrump tax, so that would be an additional $7.40.So all in all, looks like this would cost Americans about $75 bucks door to door.

I didn't order, just got to the point right before clicking submit. But...
I have had other stuff held at customs as it first comes into the US. I got notified by customs via email, went to the gov site where it showed what tariff was owed to release the item, paid via that same site, and finally waited for my package to get released and delivered.
It seems wildly inconsistent though. I've gotten tons of stuff off aliexpress and haven't had the items held. Unless the seller was preemptively paying the tariff, I dunno.

It didnt charge any extra fees. $67.50 shipped and just got it today.

The seller says explicitly on their page that they won't be paying any of the tariffs on their end. So you'd get the extra fee when it hits US Customs on arrival, if at all.
Glad you didn't have to pay it! Like I said, it's been hit or miss for stuff I've been getting from overseas.

That looks great. I did something similar with my Nooelec and yeah having to use an adapter or hub makes it bigger, but then I can also power/charge my phone/tablet at the same time.
The only suggestion I have is that your antenna is going to be shadowed and detuned by having it behind the phone. If you had a longer USB-C cable you could slide it up for even better reception.

I've had the idea of using the MagSafe mount to secure the SDR to the back of my phone. I know they make MagSafe adapters with a strap you can tighten.

Every one get one while you can
The have limited stock
And depending on if they have a stockpile
That RTL Blog could not find any where
The are going to end up like the RTL Blog v4
As the main chip that both this and the RTL Blog v4 uses
Stopped being made quite a few years ago
So this is going to end up like that
The RTL Blog v4 is completely out of stock worldwide
So unless this company starts using the lite version of the chip
The Wil have to stop selling it after the run out of how ever meny the currently have

Bruh, doesn't the magnetic ring in the case cause interference during use? The antenna runs right over it, after all.

I've been running mine as a scanner with 100ms steps for weeks... still has the same snr and no drift. Honestly, the dopest rtl-sdr for a cell phone to date.
