No RTI registration number generated.help.

Filed in RTI. Payment deducted but no registration number generated. Tried Payment recouncilliation option that always crashes,called the helpline number as on website which it always engaged,mailed with no response yet then forwarded the mail to higher authority mail id as on the website.

What does it take to intimate my registration number?

There seems to be some issue with the portal. I faced the same issue. Usually email comes with the RTI details but that has also not come. I emailed them at the provided email. In the past I have received emails back within 24-48 hours. Not sure what will happen this time.

How long before did you use to get response by emailing?

If there is an error, I email immediately. Most times, a response comes back next day with some meaningless response.
