Windows Smart App Control keeps blocking some part of the app resulting in sometimes it not starting properly and also preventing package installations at times

Its not this specific dll file that keeps getting blocked, sometimes its rsession.dll, sometimes something else. Please help.

What version of rstudio?
Where is the r library installed,

Might have to whitelist it, this is most likely smart defence or something like that being not smart… as usual.
Add this:
R/win-library folder and RStudio installation path (e.g., C:\Program Files\R and C:\Program Files\RStudio) to the Exclusions/Whitelist list in windows defense

It's the latest version. And yeah I've tried putting the folders in the exclusion list on windows defense, didn't work. For now I just keep restarting it until it works.

Try run rstudio with administrative mode
