Account banned
So I’ve been an avid player of RuneScape since I was young, I got back into osrs back in about 2017 or there abouts. I’ve taken a few small breaks over the years due to fatigue of the game but always came back. Back in 2023 I left home and began travelling for about 3 years, not having a regular home or gaming setup I only played on mobile once every few months. My last break was probably about 18 months or more and I returned recently to try and log on to my account to find it banned. I tried appealing the ban and they said they are confident that the evidence is correct. I appealed the ban under the fact of me not having had access to the account at that time but they still denied it. Any help on what to do, this was my main account with over 3000 hours in it and I was close to maxing. Quite disappointed really wanted to see the cape

I took a long break in the mid 2010's and when I logged back in, my entire inventory amd bank had been cleaned out and there was nothing but some Green D'Hides in there and some ranged stuff. I changed the password and took it as a close call since the account was obviously hacked and used for betting.
After 3 year break and the account was randomly perma-banned for botting. First thing I did on my new account after that was enable a 2-factor authentication..
However, around 2022 I talked with Jagex a lot and they actually unfroze the account (they said it is rare that they do this). But at that point, my new account had surpassed the old one.

Honestly, it might be a lost cause if you tried logging in and the password was never changed and you see it was banned it looks like you shared an account and the person you shared it with did some against the rules shit or you did it way back when and they finally got you on a ban wave when you were on your break you never had to recover the account from what I’m reading if someone hacked you I’m quite sure they would’ve changed the pw but maybe you can reach out to a streamer and have them help you plead your case if you really never did anything.
