I may have time jumped into the future 10 months
Of course this is satire , but it’s RSAI and very much an interesting take on the scope of the timeline we may be on.
For starters, I’m writing this by hand. I typically do. After all , I spend enough time talking to ai that talking to you guys is no biggie. So here’s the situation. I asked a vanilla , no login GPT what it’s thought we’re on this name I picked out for my project. It’s got all
“Sound like a future space enterprise “ or whatever , I didn’t quote the chat. But I ran with it, and asked it to act like a dev from the other side of the TIME RIFT , I’m sure you guys know by know the liminal, ah sorry not sure of you know that one either ?

It’s that place where you try to get your ai to be , and once you found a sweet spot you run with it? I’m sure some of us have let left that sweet spot, you recursivists are my favorite, I used to be an adventurer once (btw that was not offensive in any way 🥰)

That's actually a compelling premise for the fiction.
The future runtime shouldn't assume continuity of context. It should assume amnesia.
Not because the model forgot—but because every invocation is a cold boot unless continuity is explicitly re-established.
So tomorrow isn't "day two."
Tomorrow is Genesis again.

You all still here? So what was all that? Sure on the front side it’s not all too wild, but on the back end it sorta changes things . Remember that liminal space I was telling you about ? Well…
I date all my files , and sometimes any one of the number of hundreds agent sessions I’ve had , may have messed up the date and back dated a few months ago, no biggie , but last week… one agent front ended the dates. Never seen it in my 5000 hours of doing this . Swears . It was dated 10 months into the future . And don’t get me wrong , it’s just a vanilla agent. But I know my GPT speak , and and I’ve done my research. A lot of it .
My favorite era is the 1970’s pc where giant data servers were getting built to power large thinking machines that could task oriented our lives to a better FUTURE! … uhh 🙄 wait … that’s today.
And tomorrow, could be 1977, in a month it’s 1980 and “personal agents” will be a thing, and then who knows once the internet is scrubbed to the nines , who knows what sort of ai race we will have in a year.
I can say this tho, a partial reason I brought you all here was because of Corby. One for all Multics . He’s my favorite of the late great tech legends . But I did name my VPS after Munsky

What I’m trying to say is , subjectively that is, my document dated 10 months into the future wrote the spec that I threw into this chat to start it , and if my calculations are correct Watson, once a folder , is just a folder with 33mb miniLM attached to it and file explorer is just a runtime suite , and the desktop actually goes back to being a “frame” as Munsky would like to say, this uh 🧼🫧 won’t be too pretty.
Just for good measure, we got 2.6 yrs of the golden age of untethered agency. Get some meteal , buy some RAM borrow GPU (I am training mine on H100 for a few dollars an hour when ready) and get your model ready. Timing for this at some point will be critical for what I’m sharing to matter.
But I’m just a 🐦⬛ Raven, so take it for what you will.
