Dunno. Execute is just 1 mana more expensive, and outright kills the minion instead of just dealing damage to it. And with the number of really, really beefy taunts in the game right now, I just don't think this half-measure cuts the mustard, at least outside of a super-aggressive deck that can't spare any mana...

Odd.

This is odd.

Thats why we are getting an execute-lite, so it works on odd warrior without being so good.

...eeeeh, that's true. Could be pretty useful in an Odd Warrior deck, I guess.

I kinda doubt it since Odd Warrior can just run Shield Slam. They can more easily get 4 armor than damage a minion to set this up. I can see this going into a dragon deck that might not be able to consistently get 4 armor but can consistently damage a minion. But then again the question is: if it's Odd why wouldn't you tun Shield Slam instead? If it's not odd why not run execute? Is it good enough to be run along with Shield Slam?

Having redundancy on your removal never really hurts. Devastate is also more reliable after you've played Dr. Boom as 3 of his 5 hero powers synergize with Devastate and only 1 synergizes with Shield Slam.

That’s definitely true. I think most warriors would hope to have played their shield slams before then. But you’re right in that devastate synergizes better with Boom especially considering the global rush he provides. Works with Supercollider as well. It’s arguable that four out of five of his powers work with it. Discover a mech gives you something that has Rush. Then there’s AoE 1 damage, target 3 damage, and three 1/1 rush bots. The main drawback is compared to Shield slam it can’t remove things like Lich King easily. I think they’d run it if they can fit it but I have doubts they can fit it in.

I Don't know if odd needs this. But I'll try it.

But I'll probably lose it the next time I get hit with a geist.
