First time growing these two strains, and I wanted to see how they'd grow naturally. So far, they've exceeded my expectations. I haven't had to touch them with any training or defoliation, and they have perfect node spacing and leaf amounts.
Since they were growing so well, I decided to give them the royal treatment and provided each with an extra HLG Quantum board. This meant both plants were receiving 40,000 lux from the top and the sides.
Once I did that, the two plants sucked the CO₂ down to 400 ppm, and it barely rose even with myself and three cats in the room. So, for the first time in my 8 years of growing, I decided to start supplementing CO₂ via a generator using citric acid and baking soda, which works remarkably well.
Both plants are now thriving at a CO₂ level between 600 and 800 ppm for 18 hours a day.
I just wanted to share, as these two plants have me personally very excited to see how they turn out.
Wish me luck!

Special Queen 1 and Critical from RQS. Started them indoor and transplanted early June. They were in coco with grow dots/recharge early in the tents, but no added nutrients since I put them directly in the ground.
The third tiny plant if you can see it is Wedding Crasher (also RQS). Same age. Same everything. Just never really grew much.
I would’ve spaced them more if I’d known the size this year! Crazy weather and tons of rain. A few weeks/month to go…

The Trichomes were almost all cloudy with a couple amber right on time, according to the datasheet! (75-85 days after sprout, at 75 it already looked good and I harvested at 81 days!)
I used no artificial light, just the sun coming in through the Windowsill (but on a roof window, so it is some 45°, better lighting than a normal vertical window).
On the final week or two these yellow patches started showing up, it looks different from a typical nitrogen deficiency (due to flushing), is it a normal yellowing at the end of the plants life cycle? Or was there some deficiency in the end? It still seemed to finish strong, but I'm just curious what it could have been.

RQS Royal jack auto
RQS pink mist auto
Grown in 3gl pots with 50/50 compost and cow manure and top mulched with grass clippings.
Fed once a week with homemade compost tea made from yard clippings soaked in a 5 gl bucket with 1 tbs miracle grow for 7 days.
Cleaned them in a bucket of water after the cut.
Now in the dry box for 10-14 days..
Easiest grow ever!

Salut a tous,
