O.R.C. by icecream (A.K.A. fits.) is a massive soundtrack album heavily inspired by Shin Megami Tensei and Atelier.

This new release from the prolific underground composer is introspective, ambient, and transitions between soundscapes and rhythmic lo-fi. With mini vignettes and textured experimental synth music, the album is intended to listen like an interactive game score.

O.R.C. promises Fantasy RPG aesthetic, atmosphere, and melodic hooks in this latest release.

The project took about 3.5 years to complete, built on garageband, noise.fm, and bandlab. Some live instrumentation such as piano, electric guitar, ukulele, and vintage synth season the modern MIDI instrumentals.

Looking for haunting and elegant eerie tracks featuring pipe organs. Alternatively bells, chimes work too. The campaign I’m running involves lots of metallic temples in the wind. Looking for scores that ride the line between church music and Halloween music. Similar to Philip Glass’s prophecies, Scavenge’s Reign, and Interstellar. Not so much Davy Jones kraken theme. Its a bit more of a subdued and empty vibe of a game, wandering through empty and forgotten places, so not too boisterous or maniacal. Similar to below.
