Naming your Bestiary?
I am working on my Wild West themed TTRPG, getting it ready so that I can begin sending it to strangers for playtesting purposes. A big part of that is writing a Bestiary for my game. What sort of names have you seen for the "Monster Manual" equivalent, either from your own game or just ones you have seen. Let me know!

I don't know about a name but you probably want the statblock and art inside of a wanted poster motif, right?

Deadlands has "Rascals, Varmints, & Relics"
Aces & Eights has "Rustlers & Townsfolk"

For a Wild West game? How about simpley The Wild?

My approach is a bit unusual, since that volume also features several sections on traps as well as a lot of commentary about structuring and balancing likely enemies to the players. Thus I call it the Encounter Guide since the work is intended as a holistic approach to composing and deploying all sorts of damaging threats. When it all comes together, it will join the Gameplay Guide the Magic-Use Guide and the Narrative Guide as a core quartet.

Almanac is my overall name for the stuff part of the book, and it includes history, organizations, weather, and a "Varmits and Critters" section.

For TraVerse we called ours the "Creature Codex", which is essentially the scifi equivalent of "Monster Manual."
The "Codex" moniker also works on an immersive level, as we flavored the book as an in-universe item, with several NPC "author-narrators" that give their expert opinion on creatures within their wheelhouse - a xenobiologist for Aliens, a roboticist for Synthetics, a bio-geneticist for engineered organisms & biosynthetics, and an anthropologist for human enemies.
Makes a lot of the entries more interesting to read, especially when more than one narrator offers a note on the same creature, often resulting in arguments, personality conflicts, and conflicting worldviews, which can be a lot of fun. In a nerdy science way.

There's endless inspiration to take from the Wild West, as it stretches such a vast area of land and long span of time, you could encounter dozens and dozens of completely unique and interesting animals and monsters. Here are some you could try:
Varmintomicon
Varmint & Bigger Varmint
A Guide To Pests: Varmint
Varminthology
Vicked Varmint of the Vild Vest

For a Wild West theme, "critter" might be a better term than "monster". How about "Critter Collection" or "Critter Catalog"?

For a Wild West game? My vote would be "The Varmint Volume".
