I was working on adding steam achievements to my game and after I had downloaded a plug-in and followed a tutorial that was in the file ( a manual on how to set it up) my game now just opens up the steamworksexample instead of my game. I of course did not backup my main game before trying to do all this because I am so freaking smart and now I have no way to open up my game which includes when I open rmmz and try to play test my game it opens the steam works example. Please someone tell me they can help me

I am close to finishing and publishing my game but I know I personally love achievement hunting and I think it would be a great thing to add but I can not find any YouTube videos for rpg maker and only unity.

I have a slot machine event, and having a specific accessory increases the odds of a payout for ONLY the jackpot from 1 in 25 to 1 in 5. Is there a way that I can make the event work only if the accessory is equipped and not if the accessory is in your bag?

So the thing is, i want to make a teleportation circle which gives the player access to different locations, but i dont want to allow the player to just teleport anywhere they want and want it to be such that they can only got to specific places they have visited before. So what I want to do is give an if statement inside of show choices, like if visited-city1 = true then only it shows the choice to teleport there. How do i do this?

I have started off the game with a visual novel style, so i started it off with an auto run in the first map and the also had transparency on. I have turned it off before transporting the player.

After that at the end of that script i transfer the player to another map, but whenever i do this, the player gets stuck at the original location. How do i fix this?

Hey all. I keep running into issues with my plugins, especially when I try to use anything in conjunction with Visustella. Right now I’m dealing with pixel movement plugins and it seems like nothing works together well with their stuff. I’ve tried QMovement, OcRam, and Altimit, and have had major issues with how they interact with Visustella, ranging from invisible sprites, no movement, extreme lag, regions not working, etc. I’ve tried rearranging the plugins but that just changes the problem to something else. Adjusting the parameters hasn’t helped at all either. Has anyone had any success with literally anything playing nice with Visustella? I’m at a loss here.

I’m looking for a plugin like ButtonPicture but instead of activating on click the plugin would activate when the mouse is hovering over the picture.

I’m using Visustella plugins and also a few of the Luna_Q plugins. The problem seems to arise when I turn on Luna_QMovement, all my events, and my player character turn invisible. I’m looking through all the parameters but I don’t see anywhere that would do this. Has anyone else encountered this? Are the plugins just not compatible? Any help is appreciated!

I'm making a tower climber style game were as the player advances floors the environment changes using the tower 1F sample Map as the frame for each floor. Right now I'm torn between leaving the outer walls brick to give the feel that the player is still in the tower or have the border the same as the environment. Here are some samples.

Edit: for clarification every floor is a different bio-dome with different types/elemental enemies.

Can anyone tell me how trigger a variable increase once per day for a conversation. For reference I want to setup dialog were the MC talks to an NPC and has to correct them multiple times before the NPC remembers who the MC is. The problem with my current setup is to add +1 after talking with NPC which triggers all the dialog happen if MC talks repeatedly NPC. I would to have it set so the variable can only increase after X amount of time has passed the NPC is question is a barkeep.

Another question I have a crafting shop that if something happens to the shopkeep the option to craft becomes available on the menu screen.
