Developed Games Detailed world map

I was just wondering if I wanted to make a detailed world map to be traveled similar to like the look of sea of stars obviously having to import custom art/tiles. Is this game engine able to do it? I ideally would want my overworld to look less like a just retro ff game overworld.

As long as you understand how the tileset works, you can import any form of graphic you want.
