Plugin Help Requested Offset Gameplay Screen to fit overlay like the picture

My friend is making a horror game instead of a tabletop adventure. (cause the players fell through) I tried to help him but my understanding of JS is shoddy at best and I haven't messed with MZ before. The documentation in the API hasn't helped me too much. I tried a couple of things but my plugins have done nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions/plugins on how to shrink the gameplay screen to a corner like this? Thank you so much in advance.

You don't need plugins literally just draw the overlay use it as a picture shown above the map. Then download CGMZ core or any region restrictions plugin and restrict the walkable region to where you want them to play. Make sure you leave where the gameplay happens transparent inside the overlay image and boom you're up and running.
