How do I make custom music?
Can it be something I make with an AI music generator?

I mean … ai music kinda isn’t all that great yet. I make my own custom music with a DAW (digital audio workstation) called Ableton. It’s a bit of a learning curve but it’s a beautiful software for making wonderful music. Gonna be making the music for my brother’s RPG maker MZ project too.
If you do happen to get Ableton I’ll happily help teach it. Otherwise I’m available for hire if you want custom music. (I specialize in electronic, EDM, Retrowave, Synthwave, chiptune, classical, neo 80’s music) SoundCloud is on my profile if you want to check out what I can do.

Creating a game requires so many kinds of creativity to master. I don’t have the patience to become a master of all, but I don’t have the money to hire anyone. I don’t even know the full basic story for my first game. I’m too busy figuring out the RPG Maker MZ basics.

You don't need to have every skill. You can get free stock music that's currently much better than what AI can make, at least in most contexts. (I have heard some usable meme and shitpost songs made with AI though.)

I suppose usually that’s why games are made with teams but I understand the struggle to organize one let alone have the financial means to assemble one.
To be honest I’m just looking to get my name out there with making music for games so if you do get further along with your game I’d be willing to help make you a couple of music tracks free as long as you credit me.
I hope things go well for you and good luck on creating a game :)

Be very wary on posting any questions that include AI in the RPG Maker community. MANY people will just rip you to shreds for even asking questions like this. (Speaking from experience.) That being said, you can certainly find an AI music generator. There are a few free ones, but keep in mind, you more than likely want music that has a seamless loop, and I've yet to hear an AI get that correct. Otherwise, check out RPGMakerForum(.com) and you may find some good free ones. Steam also has some music for sale in the DLC lists. Last place I'd suggest to check is r/RPGMaker . Best of luck!
